 Bardon Beat Priorities Update

Your local neighbourhood policing team has continued to carry out proactive patrols and engagement activity across the beat area in response to community concerns and ongoing priorities.

ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour)
Numerous high-visibility patrols have been carried out throughout the daytime and evening periods in identified hotspot locations. Officers are continuing enquiries into reports of off-road bikes being ridden illegally and without the correct documentation, causing nuisance and concern to residents.

We would remind riders that vehicles being used unlawfully may be seized under police powers. We are continuing to work with partner agencies and gather intelligence to identify those responsible.

If you have any information, CCTV, dashcam footage, or details relating to these incidents, please report it via 101 or by email. Information from the community remains vital in helping us tackle these issues.

HGVs
Dedicated patrols and checks have been conducted throughout the beat area focusing on HGV compliance and road safety. No breaches or offences were identified during these patrols, which is positive to see. Officers will continue monitoring routes regularly to ensure continued compliance and safety for all road users.

Speeding
Traffic monitoring and speed enforcement activity has been carried out across several locations within the beat following concerns raised by residents. No issues were identified during recent checks; however, further speeding operations and proactive enforcement activity are planned in the coming weeks at varying times and locations.
