Westgate Ward – Neighbourhood Update

Dear Resident

Thank you to residents for raising concerns in the recent surveys.

I just wanted to take the time to update you about the progress we are making in the top three priorities that were identified. Which were: Highways Obstructions, Homelessness and Road Safety issues.

We are working with Canterbury City Council and local charities to support those experiencing homelessness, ensuring appropriate help is provided.

We are carrying out road safety patrols and speed checks to improve safety in the city centre.

We are also working with highways and traffic enforcement to address obstructions as they arise.

If you have concerns, please report via 101 or online, or speak to us on patrol.
