Operation Sceptre

Dear Resident,

We would like to make you aware that Operation Sceptre will be taking place this week, from Monday 18th May to Sunday 24th May 2026, focusing on tackling knife crime and keeping our communities safe.

Carrying a knife can have serious consequences—not only increasing the risk of harm to yourself or others, but also leading to life-changing outcomes such as arrest, imprisonment, or serious injury.

As part of this operation, we are holding a number of knife amnesty events, offering a safe and anonymous way for anyone to dispose of knives responsibly. By taking part, you can help make a real difference in reducing harm and protecting our streets.

We encourage anyone who may have a knife to make use of these facilities—no questions will be asked.
