3 new recruits |
||
|
We are lucky enough to have 3 new recruits working with us this week. We have been out today as 5 of our users/dealers are currently wanted. We have carried out 5 stop and searches, detained and processed a shop lifter, seized 11 wraps of crack cocaine. Dispersed 6 males from 2 different locations. Visited the new gates in Burlington Mews- a delightful surprise. Patrolled miles. Up around Acton Hill, Woodlands Park, Grove Road and surrounds, Heathlands gardens and Bronte Court, through the South Acton estate, and all around the High Street. We have spoke to many of you and hopefully a lot of you have seen us about today. We have been very busy and now we are back in preparing to interview 3 males arrested for being concerned in supply. It has been a really good productive day and the new officers have really excelled. Last week I attempted to do much of the same, but our whole week was taken over by the cannabis factory in the vacant pub. We just managed to cut down all the plants by Thursday lunchtime. So I headed out to patrol Thursday afternoon only to bump into a lady who had been wanted for almost a year. Always nice to catch up with old acquaintances. Hopefully this is a demonstration of what we do. We do try and get out as much as we can. The problem is that nothing is ever straight forward and we can go out with the plans to patrol and arrest straight away, and go out to arrest and end up with all different kind of adventures. As you may have heard PS Zealey has put together an operation to target the issues on the Mount. There will be more details of this to follow and we will keep you all informed.
