Operation Sceptre continues ❌ 🔪 ❌

Today, PCSO Wright attended Da Vinci Academy alongside a Police Officer who works in the Youth Engagement Team. They hosted a pop-up stall inside the school which saw over 200 students come and speak with us regarding what the initiative is all about this week in relation to knife crime awareness. You can see more about this on previous posts below.

This morning, PCSO Gregson attended a Chaddesden Partnership Network Meeting alongside a vast variety of partner agencies. This is a multi-agency forum that unites local police, Derby City Council officers, and other community support services. It enables the police and partner agencies to collaborate and address local issues (like anti-social behaviour), and shape long-term solutions to make the Chaddesden area a safer place to live and work. We had great discussions today, and by working closely together, we can ensure we are proactively addressing local concerns and keeping our community safe and thriving 🤝

We will be at the Racecourse again tomorrow between 7pm and 9pm alongside our cadets, and will also be conducting a knife sweep on the Racecourse Playing Fields where we will be scanning the area in the hope of finding offensive bladed articles, removing them from our streets, and ensuring Chaddesden is kept safe and sound.
