Safe Disposal of Knives & Blades

As part of Sceptre Week, we're reminding residents that unwanted knives and blades should always be disposed of safely and responsibly.

Please never place loose knives or blades into household rubbish or recycling bins, where they could cause injury to family members, waste workers or members of the public.

If disposing of sharp items, ensure they are wrapped securely and handles safely. 

Safe disposal helps keep our communities safer.
