Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 1.01pm on Monday 18 May in Ashwood Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, a house was entered, through an unlocked door, by a white female, age 30’s, slim build, wearing a dark coloured track suit. She stole a purse and a bag. Burglary Other Overnight Sunday 17 to Monday 18 May in Diamond Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, gates on Derby Road were forced and electric fencing cut to gain access to a scrap metal yard. Containers were broken into and car parts, tyres and catalytic converters were stolen. Theft of motor vehicle Around 8.05pm on Wednesday 20 May at William Morrisons Supermarket, Ashfield Precinct, Kirkby in Ashfield, a silver Yamaha YBR 125 motorbike was stolen from the car park by someone in a black jacket with the hood up. Theft from motor vehicle Between 11.00pm on Monday 18 and 7.00am on Tuesday 19 May in York Avenue, Jacksdale, a dark metallic grey Ford Transit van was broken into and tools stolen from inside. Theft Between 4.00pm on Friday 15 and 8.00am on Monday 18 May in Portland Road, Selston, a red, grey and black Tile Bumpa machine was stolen. Fencing was removed to gain access and the securing lock and chain to the machine was cut. Criminal Damage A report at 10.52am on Thursday 14 May in Beacon Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, that the lock on a gate, which gives access to a field at the back of a parking area, had been broken. At some time after 12.00 noon on Sunday 17 May at Hallams Farm, Blidworth Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, two motor bikes, taking a short cut, rode across five fields damaging crops. Between 4.00pm and 7.45pm on Monday 18 May in Southwell Close, Kirkby in Ashfield, the outer glass of a double glazed living room window was damaged. ASB At 6.05pm on Thursday 14 May in Kingsway Park, Kingsway, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of two males riding e-bikes at speed around the park.
