Local Priorities Dangerous driving / speeding Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding dangerous driving and speeding, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Over the past few Days there has been a number of issues regarding Traffic Management around a few of our local schools in the Area including Edison Primary School Heston And Lampton Schools where parents have been parking in surrounding roads causing issues for students crossing the roads safely. Due to this we the Police have been called to these schools to sort out the issues and give warnings to parents. Due to this does not appear to be any improvement it has been decided that Police will now be in attendance and will be issuing Tickets to the people caught causing issue there and then these will be fines issued for this. Also Cameras will be used to record these issues and concerns and if the tickets are not issued on the day they will e sent through the post to you so please be careful when driving around schools do not speed or park on yellow line not even one time due to fines will e sent or given out no exceptions.

If someone is driving a motor vehicle, they should always be doing so in a safe and considerate manner. Even momentary lapses in judgement can have life changing or devastating consequences for those in the vehicle or innocent bystanders.
