Live facial recognition operation in Welling High street

On Thursday 21st May the Falconwood and Welling team carried out a joint operation using live facial recognition cameras on Welling High street. The operation resulted in 1 arrest for Failing to appear, 3 court imposed conditions being checked, stop and searches and a large amount of suspected class A drugs being recovered.  Officers also engaged with local businesses and dispersed groups congregating on the high street.

A successful operation with separate events planned in the coming months.
