21/05/2026 Routine Patrols - Wembley Hill |
||
|
Whilst on routine patrols PCSO Baker, was flagged down by the manager of Wembley Park McDonald’s regarding a male who was refusing to leave the premises. Upon engaging with the male and, following checks, it was established that the male was wanted for breach of immigration bail due to failing to attend scheduled appointments. The male was subsequently arrested for this offence and conveyed to Wembley custody without incident.
On a separate incident, PCSO Baker observed a female causing nuisance and annoyance to members of the public by sitting on the pavement, creating an obstruction, and persistently begging for money, even after being refused. PCSO Baker engaged with the female, who was identified as a tourist visiting the area. PCSO Baker issued the female with an Anti-Social Behaviour Warning Notice and dispersed her from the immediate area to prevent further incidents.
Two high-powered e-bikes were seized on Wembley High Road, one of which was capable of reaching speeds of up to 52km/h.
A rough sleeper was engaged with, and appropriate support and assistance were offered. However, the male became aggressive, declined any help from police, and subsequently packed up his belongings and moved on from the area.
Multiple reassurance visits were conducted, during which crime prevention advice was provided. Patrols are continuing within Wembley Hill ward, with a focus on identified ward priorities.
