Good Afternoon Everybody,

This week has been a focus on Operation Sceptre which is a initiative focused on knife crime and youth violence. As a local team we have been engaging with young people on the streets and understanding any concerns

The Ladywood team have had some positive results on the patch this week. Whilst officers were conducting High vis patrols at regular ASB locations officers were given great pieces of community intelligence. This led to a successful operation where two males were arrested for drug offences. Large amount of money and drugs were seized from the property. We are now linking in with the council about the future of the property.   You said we did!

We also responded to call from residents about ASB in block of flats. Officers arrived and seized a large weapon that had been discarded in the communal area. 

On the 14th of June i will be at Chamberlin Gardens between 11am and 12pm to conduct patrols but also for a opportunity for residents to come and speak to me about any issues however myself and the team will still be out and about so if you see us at any point come and say hello.
