|
Good afternoon from the Coldhurst & Westwood Neighbourhood Policing Team Just an update on crime figures so far this month over a 22-day period – (See Attachment!) There are 109 Crimes so far this month with a large majority being held at the ROH, where patients are regularly involved in minor assaults and occasionally the odd more serious case. There are however several areas where we could do with the publics help and observations , namely Thefts from B&Q, B&M and Aldi are still prevalent, Thefts from Motor Vehicle including number plates being taken, with the latest one being taken from around Sunfield Road and more concerning are Arson reports near to Richmond School off Winterbottom Street behind the Westwood Tram Stop where fire engines have had to be called out on a couple of occasions. Also, in the same area youths are getting into the school grounds, however this week one youth was seriously injured climbing the spiked fences. Parents need to advise their children of the dangers involved. Please be vigilant and let the police know if you spot anything unusual by using one of the contact methods below, as we all need to help each other to make our area a good place to live and grow up for all our communities.
