Good evening to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams

On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks

We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green, Walmley and Wylde Green retail areas deterring shoplifters.

Four Oaks Neighbourhood

Burglaries

Lichfield Road – Monday 18th May offenders have snapped locked a rear door, entered the property and stole keys to two vehicles a Grey BMW and a White Audi and other property.

One of the vehicles was recovered along with the residents property.

New Hall Neighbourhood

Theft of Motor Vehicle

Orton Avenue – Tuesday 19th May at 00.30 hrs offenders have stolen a Black BMW with a relay device.

 If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.

 Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap, before heading out make sure your home looks like someone is in.

Four offenders have been detected for theft, three have been charged and one has been dealt and given a community resolution.

 Surgeries

PCSO Gill Whittingham from the Four Oaks Neighbourhood Team attended Four Oaks Baptist Church on Tuesday 19th May for a surgery, giving crime prevention advice and talking to local community groups.

Street Watch

 Hill Village street watch patrol has carried out a patrol on Monday 18th May.

PCSO Gill Whittingham and PC Alex Higgins attended a dementia event at Walmley recreational grounds, talking to people attending about Alberts Protocol.
