Weapons Sweep on Putney Park Lane

Dear West Putney residents,

I am inviting you all to join us for a weapon sweep taking place on the 30th May 2026, an event was created however I am not sure if it was properly advertised so I will add further information in this message.

The community engagement will be occurring on Saturday 30th May 2026 at 13:00 and we aim to finish at approximately 14:30, we will starting from Putney Park Lane Walkway (what3words: spots.gallons.statue) walking on the path and finishing at The Pleasance Park. A short briefing will be done at the location to explain what we are looking for, what to do when a weapon is found and how to report a weapon if you find it whilst attending to your own daily activities. 

You will also have the opportunity to speak to Putney Safer Neighbourhoods Team officers about crime prevention advice, any concerns you may have in your neighbourhood and other similar queries. 

Disposable gloves will be provided at the location, however if you wish to bring your own gloves (of any kind) feel more than free.
