Good afternoon, 

I just wanted to provide a short insight into what's been going on in the area recently. 

In the past month, that is from the 1st of April, Grove has seen 9 arrests.  These arrests were made for the following offences: Possession of a Knife/ Bladed Article, Robbery, x2 Warrants, Breach of Court Order, interfering with a motor vehicle, threats to kill, Going equipped, Possession of Class A, and x2 Theft. 

Good news story - Weapon removed from the Streets of Hammersmith:

While carrying out proactive foot patrols in Grove, PCSOs identified an individual who was wanted on recall to prison.  The individual attempted to make off from officers; however, PCSOs quickly responded, detained the suspect, and prevented the individual from escaping until a Constable arrived to formally arrest the individual. 

Following a search of the individual's bag, officers located and seized a knife.  The suspect was subsequently further arrested. 

This was a great example of proactive patrols, teamwork, and quick action by PCSOs helping to remove a weapon from the streets and keep the local community safe.
