Knife Crime Awareness Week |
How we have kept our neighbourhoods safe during knife crime awareness week? As we near towards the end of Knife Crime Awareness Week, Mile End Safer Neighbourhood wanted to share what we have done to help combat knife crime, and what you can do to help keep our communities safe.
Following the incident from last week where a knife was retrieved at Bow Common Lane, E3. Mile End Safer Neighbourhood team have increased patrols around our ward priority areas. Officers have conducted weapons sweeps to deter offences and reassure our community members. We will keep focusing on key areas to make a real difference: Working with partners - We are working closely with schools and local authorities to ensure young people have the support and information they need to stay safe.
Safety is a shared effort and we encourage our community members to protect the people who live and work in Mile End. Let’s work together to keep our neighbourhoods safe and secure.
