Appeal after Haverhill assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Haverhill.

The incident occurred at around 2.15am on Friday 22 May in Clements Close.

The victim, a woman aged in her 20s, suffered minor injuries after the attack which included being scratched, bitten and her head being pulled.

The suspect is described as being black and around 5ft 8ins tall. It is believed the victim and the suspect are known to each other.
