Be aware potential rogue traders may be operating in your area

We have had recent reports that potential rogue traders may be operating in and around your area. This follows a report in Lampeter town recently, that two persons had attended offering to do work to trim garden trees. Money was taken, but no work carried out. 

These traders may cold call or knock on doors looking to target elderly or vulnerable people and claim to be tradesman to repair roofing, patios, guttering or gardening.

If you are suspicious of anyone calling please do not hesitate to call 101 (non urgent), or 999 if a crime is taking place. 

If in doubt, do not answer your door and do not engage with them.

Please also keep an eye on any elderly or vulnerable neighbours who may be targeted and make them aware
