Weapon Sweep

Hello all, 

The KILBURN and FORTUNE GREEN safer neighbourhoods team along with the Volunteer Police Cadets team carried out a series of weapons sweeps in KILBURN GRANGE PARK NW6 on 21st of May 2026. 

Due to it being a warm, busy and sunny day, this area is known for ASB and drug usage, with the presence of the teams, on this occasion due to our increased presence there was no ASB or drugs activity.

A discarded kitchen knife was found by carrying out these weapon sweeps, which was found by one of the observant cadets.

The KILBURN team will look to carry out future weapon sweeps in KILBURN ward.
