#ARREST Bolton Town Centre - Plain Clothes Operation 29/05/2026

Officers from the Bolton South Neighbourhood Team and the Neighbourhood Crime Team conducted plain clothes patrols in Bolton town centre this evening as part of ongoing proactive policing activity.

A 20-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and possession with intent to supply a Class A substance. He currently remains in police custody for questioning whilst enquiries continue.

We remain committed to tackling crime and anti-social behaviour within the town centre and will continue to carry out proactive patrols to keep our communities safe.
