Burglary reported in Rectory Road, Sutton Coldfield

Dear Resident.

What has happened?

At 6.05am on the 29th of May 2026 an offender gained access to an insecure rear porch door.

Once inside the porch a number of items were stolen from within the porch.

What did we do?

The offender was discovered by the occupier of the property, who called the police.

Officers attended and the the offender was arrested.

What can you do?

It is important to ensure all entrance points to your property are locked and secured.

So please check doors and windows before going out or going to bed.

Please do not leave items on display in porches or by windows as these  can attract opportunist thieves to your property.
