Illegal driver - Arrested! - 29/5/26

Following a stop by officers from Pyle NPT, a male was subsequently arrested.

A local resident reported 2 males trying to steal a parked car. On arrival, PCSO Couch and PC Jones could not locate the vehicle, however a short time later, spotted it being driven out of the village. On stopping the vehicle, they were able to secure and arrest the driver who has now been dealt with for Driving whilst Disqualified / No Insurance, suspected Theft of the vehicle & Drug Driving. The vehicle was also seized.

The report initially came from a concerned resident, which is great for us. I cannot fault people reporting their concerns to us, I / we really appreciate it. Thank you!
