Scammers use this fake certification to trick people into giving them cash, or revealing sensitive bank details. Legitimate charities do not use this outdated language] What You Should Do Do Not Engage: Politely decline, do not sign anything, and keep walking. Never Hand Over Cash or Cards: Do not let them handle your money or your phone (e.g., for contactless payment).
