Dear Karen,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the number of emails and updates you have been receiving. We genuinely appreciate you raising this with us.

We understand that receiving too many messages can feel overwhelming, and we are sorry that your experience has felt this way. Your feedback is important and reflects something we are actively reviewing across Hounslow.

Our aim with MetEngage is to keep residents informed about:

Crime prevention advice

Significant local incidents

Positive work being carried out by local policing teams

However, we recognise that the volume and frequency of messages must be balanced so that information remains useful, relevant, and not excessive.

We are currently reviewing our approach to:

Reduce unnecessary duplication of messages

Improve the quality and relevance of updates

Ensure a more manageable and consistent flow of communication

This work is part of a wider effort to improve the service, retain current members, and continue to grow the MetEngage community in a way that benefits everyone.

In the meantime, if you wish, you can also tailor your notification preferences within your MetEngage account to better suit what you would like to receive.
