Hello all, The summer has now arrived and would like to update you on my comings and goings after a very busy few weeks. During the month of May, I have made 9 arrests, including 2 arrests for drug driving, 1 for Arson and 1 for outraging public decency, a high profile incident of a male in the St. Lawrence High Street area following multiple complaints from residents such as yourselves2 x stop searches, both of which had positives results for drugs which were promptly seized leading to 1 arrest and 1 out of court disposal with the aim of preventing repeat offendingI have charged one suspect with drug driving with the case heading to court over the next couple of months, with the aim of making the roads safer for all members of the publicDuring this time I have attended 42 calls, these range from 999 emergency calls to planned deployments covering events such as DreamlandIt will be no secret that due to local demand that I, along with my other colleagues have spent considerable time in Broadstairs and Margate following the large issues with anti-social behaviour, policing Section 34 dispersal zones and dealing robustly with troublesome groups making their way to these areas, which has taken a lot of our policing time away from other areas, please know that I still make efforts to see all the calls made to police in the areas I cover Please continue to get in touch if you need me or you have information you think could be of use, I’m always keen to hear from you.
