Knife searches!

Good Morning Resident ..

On the 22/04/2026 Myself and other PCSO'S did a very successful knife sweep in the gardens of Wolverhampton city centre which is located next to the art gallery.

We do regular sweeps here in order to try our best to take them off the streets before they are potentially used in a crime, we aim to get as many knives off the streets as possible and keep the streets clean.. 

If anybody is walking around WV town centre and happens to come across a knife anywhere there are knife bins located around the city where you could drop in them in. If you are concerned about touching the Knife and haven't got any sort of protective gloves then you could always just wave down an officer or call us where we could then come to your location and safely take the weapon to store in a safe place!
