Rogue Traders - Whitstable

Officers from the Neighbourhood Task Force have recently attended a report of rogue traders in the area of Whitstable. A male is reported to have attended an address and claimed work was needed on the residents roof. The work was not asked for and it appears to be a false claim, as no actual damage was on the roof.

Please be vigilant,

1) Research companies online, 

2) Make sure to obtain quotes in writing for the exact work to be completed, 

3) Avoid paying money upfront,

4) If you feel something is wrong do not continue with the work.

Please report any suspicious cold callers or rogue traders online and on 999 in an emergency.
