HAD (Humane Animal Dispatch) Volunteers

We are looking for new volunteers to join our Humane Animal Dispatch (HAD) team across the Thames Valley area.

We are seeking people who can provide a calm and compassionate response when deer are seriously injured on the roads.

HAD volunteers assist officers at incidents requiring the humane dispatch of deer.

Full training is provided.

We are seeking people with experience of working with animals in professional or rural settings (for example farming, gamekeeping, or similar), who are confident in a variety of environments and able to volunteer on an on-call basis.  If you  are interested please email TVPHADTeams@thamesvalley.police.uk.
