CRIME update for May 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the QMC Police beat area during the month of May.

Burglaries residential = 0

Criminal damage = 2

13/05 Arnesby Road – Side of vehicle scratched whilst parked on victim's driveway.

14/05 Triumph Road – Damage caused to shutter on a bike shed. 

Theft of motor vehicle = 1

20/05 Sherwin Road – Suspect's have attempted to steal victim's motorbike. 

Theft from vehicle = 4

Between 02/05 and 03/05 QMC car park – Dash cam, cash, car phone charger and gym bag containing gym clothes and gym gear stolen.

Between 04/05 and 05/05 QMC car park – Cash stolen.

Between 14/05 and 15/05 Church Street – Vehicle broken into via offside passenger window, backpack containing a camera lens, headphones and a laptop charger stolen.

Between 15/05 and 16/05 QMC car park – insecure unlocked vehicle, items stolen from within.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
