Illegal Vapes and Tobacco Seized During Joint Enforcement Operation in Woodberry Down

Dear Woodberry Down Residents,

On the 2nd of June, officers carried out a series of visits to multiple businesses located in the Woodberry Down area as part of an ongoing operation. This initiative was conducted collaboratively, with the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) working closely alongside Trading Standards and representatives from the local council to address concerns around illicit trade activity within the community.

During one of these inspections at a local business premises, officers identified and seized a substantial quantity of illegal vaping devices and tobacco products. The items confiscated were assessed to have a combined value exceeding £11,250, highlighting the significant scale of the illegal goods involved. 

This seizure forms part of wider efforts to tackle the distribution and sale of unregulated products and to ensure compliance with trading laws in the area.
