PCSO Buller from Glossop YET (Youth Engagement Team) has completed the following input today (Friday 5th June).

Glossop YET were at Hayfield Primary School, Swallow House Lane, Hayfield this morning to complete an input on Anti-Social Behaviour, (ASB) and Crime - on making Good Choices or Bad Choices with their Yr 6 students.

We discussed 🗣️ 
▪️Why do we need laws?
▪️The age of Criminal Responsibilty 
▪️Whats is a Crime - What is ASB ? -  including examples
▪️Why might someone commit ASB/Crime? - Excuses used by young people!
▪️Possible Consequences - both direct and indirect for the perpretator 
▪️Who to Tell - How to report anonymously, by using Fearless.org

The team would like to thank the headteacher Mr Papadopoulos and Mrs Horton year 6 class teacher for accomodating our visit today  - but just as importantly a thank you to the young people from class 6 who enaged well, asked some very relevant quiestions, gave good examples and were a credit to the school.
