🚓 Another Busy Shift on the Ashby Beat

During a rather busy shift juggling beat priorities, obstructive vehicles 🚗, and CCTV enquiries following recent anti-social behaviour in the town centre, Mary and Will attempted to grab a quick brew on our lunch break and catch up on some paperwork…

…but policing had other ideas! 👀

We ended up bumping into Ashby’s new Mayor, Councillor Murrae Blair-Park, along with members of Ashby Council, who were attending an event at Ivanhoe School 🎓.

This gave us a great opportunity for a quick chat about ongoing town centre issues, including the damage to shop windows (investigation still ongoing 🔍), as well as the newly installed lights at the Bath Grounds 💡.
