Community Patrol Update – Friday 5 June 2026 Officers have been conducting high-visibility patrols in Bridgend town centre and along Quarella Road in response to concerns raised by local residents and members of the public. During the patrols: One individual was arrested for breach of the peace and has been remanded in custody to appear before the court tomorrow morning.A second individual was issued with a Section 35 dispersal notice earlier in the day. They were later arrested for breaching the notice and were also found to be wanted on a fail to appear warrant.A third individual was arrested on recall to prison.Separately, two individuals were issued with Community Protection Warnings (CPWs). These are issued to repeat offenders whose anti-social behaviour is having a negative impact on the local community. Conditions are attached to these warnings.A further person was arrested for possession of class A drugOfficers will continue to carry out targeted patrols to address concerns and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the community.
