Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Dear resident 

Hope you are all well

Here’s a quick round up from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the last week in the Blakenall Ward.  Your Designated Neighbourhood Police officer is PC Richard Collins

Officers and PCSOs have carried out high visibility patrols around the Wyrley View estate.  Street watch has been set up we are hoping that the first patrols will be carried out this week along with PCSOS. We currently have 2 members that have already signed up and 2 others that are in the process of joining If anyone else is interested please contact us. 

The rest of the officers on the NHT have been trained to use the pedal assist electric bikes this will allow us to have an increased presence in some of the m ore inaccessible locations  

Several arrests have been made, enquiries are still on going in an attempt to ID the youths that have been causing issues on Swannie’s field.

We have been made aware of issues with scrap metal collectors, officer are working with Walsall council and housing in attempt to resolve the issues.
