🚔 City Centre Day of Action 🚔

Today, your local Neighbourhood Team were out in the city centre working alongside Immigration Enforcement and colleagues from the Road Policing Unit. Together, we focused on tackling those exploiting the gig economy and identifying individuals potentially working illegally.

We also placed a strong emphasis on the use of e-bikes in the city, particularly where they are linked to anti-social behaviour and road safety concerns.

🔹 35 e-bike riders stopped
🔹 1 arrest for immigration offences
🔹 1 arrest for dangerous driving following a short pursuit
🔹 17 illegal e-bikes seized

This has been a productive day, helping us to build our intelligence picture while taking positive action to address anti-social behaviour and keep our city centre safe.
