✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

Officers from St Matthews Neighbourhood have conducted a Street Watch Patrol alongside volunteers from Rushall Hall, whereby they have patrolled the local area, being vigilant and keeping the local community safe, thank you for your time and effort.

There have a number of arrests this week which include Robbery and Shop Theft offences within the Town Centre.

The team have carried out ASB patrols in company with Green Square Accord Housing, these patrols play an important part in keeping the community safe and reassured due to receiving information from members of the public.

PCSO’S from the team have attended Lichfield Street Hub Library and met with pre school aged children and parents/carers, building relationships in order to start to form positive engagement between young children and the Police.

Also, at Lichfield Street Hub Library, there has been a Police Surgery/drop in session, there were lots of keen students revising and engaging with the PCSO’S, some of which were aspiring Police Officers.

At St Matthew's Church Centre, PCSO’S have attended and presented an input on personal safety for a group that is dedicated to senior citizens within the community, whereby we provided personal attack alarms and purse bells and they were very happy to meet us and have arranged future dates to attend and provide further support.
