Information request - Anti-Social Behaviour |
||
|
Dear Residents,
We are writing in relation to reports of Anti-Social behaviour (ASB) within your area. We understand that incidents such as these can have a significant impact on your day-to-day life, and we want to reassure you that we take your concerns seriously.
To assist with our investigation, we are seeking further information regarding any individuals or addresses involved in Anti-Social behaviour within your area. The following information would greatly support our enquiries:
The dates and times of each incident The location where the behaviour occurred A clear and detailed description of what happened A description of those involved (names, if known, or physical descriptions) Details of any witnesses to the incident The impact on you, your household, or others (e.g. distress, disruption, sleep disturbance) The frequency and pattern of the behaviour Any supporting evidence (such as photographs, video, or audio recordings, where it is safe to obtain) Confirmation of whether the incident has been reported to the Police or other agencies, including any reference numbers Details of any previous incidents involving the same individuals
We truly appreciate that reporting ongoing issues can be frustrating and time-consuming. However, your information plays a vital role in enabling us to take appropriate enforcement action, such as warnings, legal notices, or court proceedings where necessary. Please be assured that we are committed to working with you and the wider community to address these issues and improve the situation. If you have any concerns about providing information, or if you would like to discuss the case further, please do not hesitate to contact me on 07557778149 or email me on Rachael.barber@northants.police.uk.
Please be assured that any information you provide will be treated in the strictest confidence and handled in accordance with data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Your details will not be shared with those alleged to be causing the behaviour, and where possible, information can be used anonymously to support enforcement action. We understand that residents may have concerns about coming forward, but your support is vital in helping us take appropriate and effective action.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
You can also pass on information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. If you would like to contact your local policing team, search in the Your Area section of our website. PCSO Barber Castle Neighbourhood Policing Team
