Uxbridge Town Centre – Local Policing Update

Dear residents,

Your local Uxbridge Town Centre policing team has been working hard to keep the area safe and to address issues that matter to our community.

Over the past two weeks, we’ve been out on patrol, engaging with the community and taking positive action where needed. Here’s a quick look at what our officers have been up to:

Conducted 12 high-visibility patrols to keep the town centre safe and reassure the public

Carried out 14 x stop and searches, with 2 resulting in positive outcomes

Dealt with 2 x cannabis-related incidents through community resolutions

Attended 7 x emergency response calls

Investigated 2 x shoplifting offences

Issued 1 x Penalty Notice for Disorder (PND) for theft

Our enforcement work has also led to 8 x arrests, relating to a range of offences, including:

Drug possession (Class A and Class C)

Shoplifting and theft offences

Breaches of court orders (including CBO, SHPO, and community orders)

Failure to appear in court

Immigration-related matters

Some of these results were supported by targeted operations, including plain-clothes work tackling drug activity and the use of Live Facial Recognition technology.
