🚨 Crime Prevention Alert – Bank Cards Stolen from Vehicles

We are seeing an increase in incidents where bank cards and other valuables are being left inside vehicles and subsequently stolen.

In the early hours of Wednesday 10 June, a wallet containing bank cards and a driving licence was stolen from an insecure vehicle on Monckton Drive, Castleford. Multiple attempts were later made to use the stolen bank card.

On the same day, a pair of glasses and several parcels were stolen from another insecure vehicle on Carlyle Crescent, Castleford. The suspect is described as a young white male wearing dark jogging bottoms, a parka with the hood up, and black trainers.

Please ensure your vehicle is locked and that no valuables are left inside.
