OP LEXLAND - The MPS response to an increase in powered two wheeled enabled crime and ASB

Good Afternoon Residents!

Last Friday (5th June 2026) Neighbourhood Policing Teams took part in OP LEXLAND, the MPS response to an increase in powered two wheeled enabled crime and ASB.

This consisted of a stop site and was resourced by Bromley Neighbourhoods during Reckoning week of action. Supported by VRES and TFL. 

The teams saw some great results as listed below; 

Total vehicle stops - 28

Total arrests – 4 (1 court warrant, 4 immigration offences)

Total stop and search - 6

Total seizures - 9

Total TOR (Traffic Offence Reports) – 3 (Driving not in accordance with a license) 8 (No insurance)

Total crime reports – 2 - 1 (possession of cannabis – community resolution)

1 (handling stolen goods – one stolen pedal cycle recovered and returned to owner)
