Community Advice Notice – Drug Awareness

Good evening all

We would like to remind members of the public to remain mindful and informed about the risks associated with drug use and related activity, and to take steps to help keep themselves and their community safe.

Avoid involvement in any situation where drugs may be present or offered.

Be aware of your surroundings and trust your instincts if something feels unsafe.

Do not handle or pick up unknown substances, as they may be harmful.

Ensure young people are aware of the risks and know how to seek help if needed.

Please be aware that possession of controlled drugs is a criminal offence and may result in arrest and prosecution.

If you observe suspicious behaviour, report it to the appropriate authorities.

If you have concerns or require advice, you can contact the police on 101, or dial 999 in an emergency.

Staying informed and vigilant helps protect everyone.
