Recently, local officers worked with our Barnet cadets on a test purchase operation in Hendon.
During the operation, a shop on Brent Street sold a knife to a 15 year old. As a result, the shop owner has been fined £4,100.
This is a good example of the work being done to tackle knife crime locally, and the positive role our cadets play in supporting us.
We’ll continue working with local businesses to make sure the law is followed and to keep our community safe.
