I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Safe Space Available During England World Cup Matches.
I wanted to make you aware of a local initiative being offered during England World Cup Matches.
A safe and welcoming space will be available for anyone who would prefer not to be at home during the match times. Police officers will be present and available to provide advice, support or simply someone to talk to in a safe environment.
the sessions are scheduled for
- 17 JUNE - From 8pm onwards
- 23 JUNE - From 8pm onwards
- 27 JUNE - From 8pm onwards
The venue is the Stephen Inks Community centre, 106 Gillespie Road N5 1LP.
