Anti Social Behaviour

Officers from our Child Centred Policing Team (CCPT) have been working proactively over the past few weeks in partnership with local Beat officers, schools, and external agencies in preparation for the upcoming period of good weather and the associated increase in youth presence within our area.

Positive work has been carried out in identifying youths previously involved in anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Broadstairs. Those identified have been visited by CCPT and Beat officers, where engagement has taken place with both the young persons and their parents. Where appropriate, measures have been put in place, including issuing direction orders preventing those individuals from entering Broadstairs for a specified period.

We will continue this proactive approach over the coming weeks, particularly as the summer holidays approach. This will include ongoing joint working with partner agencies, schools, and Child Centred Policing Teams across Kent to reduce ASB and keep our communities safe.
