Another uninsured vehicle removed from the road

🚓 Highley & Cleobury Mortimer Safer Neighbourhood Team – Patrol Update 🚓

After a busy morning, PC IVES & PC NOLAN were heading back to Highley Police Station, dreaming of a well-earned brew ☕… when suddenly,  plot twist............ a very familiar vehicle appeared on a quiet residential street.

And when we say familiar, we mean first-name basis familiar with the registered keeper… no introductions needed anymore 🤝😅
Now, this vehicle rang a bell 🔔 — mainly because its owner seems to be sticking to their long running hobby of not having insurance 🤔

Being the friendly faces we are, we thought we’d pop over for a quick chat. However, upon spotting us, the registered keeper clearly remembered us too… and immediately entered an impromptu 100m sprint 🏃‍♂️💨

Speed: impressive.
Timing: questionable.
Outcome: predictable. 😏
We can only assume they’re still a little bit upset after we seized another one of their uninsured vehicles just three weeks ago… honestly, we’re starting to feel like regular catch-ups are becoming a thing at this point 😅

📌 Today’s life lessons:
A quiet street does not come with “stealth mode” 🚗✨
Running away doesn’t magically insure your car
And if we know you by your first name… we’re probably going to spot you again
