Two men charged following theft from supermarket

Two men have been charged in connection with a theft from a supermarket in Hoddesdon.

The incident happened yesterday (Thursday 11 June) at Sainsbury’s in Brewery Road. 

Jean‑Claude Candeh, aged 46, of Lopen Road, London, and Simon Davies, aged 42, and of Elmhurst Road, Enfield were arrested and charged with shoplifting. 

Both men are due to appear at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on Monday 20 July 2026 for their first hearing.
