Simple Steps to Keep Your Vehicle Safe –
Keyless ignition owners should use a Faraday pouch for their fob. All drivers should consider a steering lock, park in well – lit visible areas, lock their vehicle, remove valuables and ensure windows, sunroof, and wing mirrors are closed/ folded. Unfolded mirrors may signal an unlocked car to thieves.
What has been happening? Good news –
Officers arrested a male who is a prolific shoplifter for the theft of high value alcohol from a Castle Bromwich retail outlet and following interview he was successfully charged and bailed to attend court.
We recovered a stolen motorbike in a local park that had been reported to us from the Fire service due to its heavily damaged condition
The Team have been out patrolling Hurst Lane North this afternoon outside Castle Bromwich Infant and Junior schools. We have had numerous complaints from parents and residents around the parking at school times where vehicles were blocking driveways and driving on pavements and generally using their vehicles in a reckless, inconsiderate and anti-social manner. The team issued 4 tickets to offending drivers and educated other drivers in an effort to instil safe driving practices and reduce future offending behaviour.
Thank you everyone that attended the beat surgery at Arden Hall last night. It was a successful engagement with a good attendance from local residents and councillors alike. We will be reviewing all the information and concerns received and it is our intention to proactively deal with the issues that were raised.
