Increase of Criminal Damage Incidents |
||
|
I wanted to provide an update regarding Vandalism/ graffiti, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. In the recent weeks we have been reviewing our reports on the ward and have seen that Criminal damage incidents have been on the increase, This has included damage to cars and House's, Please be vigilant in your local area of any suspicious behaviour. Our advice would be to try and protect your property by covering your cars if possible or potentially looking into possible CCTV options to try and deter criminals from damaging your property. Also we would recommend getting a security light to also try and deter any criminal actions in your local area. Please report to police any suspicious behaviour to 101 if it is not an emergency and is just information. If it is an emergency and you require police immediately please call 999 We want to ensure everyone is able to keep their property safe from vandalism or defacement in your local area. As such, through conversations with homeowners, members of the public, police officers and staff we’ve collated our 5 Top Tips for safeguarding a property. Please see the advice listed below:
