Antisocial Behaviour - Lancaster City Centre

Good afternoon,

Yesterday, Police received a high number of reports of youths causing issues in and around Lancaster City Centre.

Reports included members of the public being abused and assaulted, large groups causing a nuisance in and outside businesses and general unpleasant antisocial behaviour. We will not tolerate this behaviour anywhere in the City and we will be working closely with partner agencies and local schools to identify all of the youths involved so parents, don't be surprised if we are knocking on your doors!

Parents, we are asking for your support in speaking with your child about their behaviour, knowing their exact whereabouts, and the importance of acting responsibly and respectfully towards others. Early intervention from parents and guardians is key to preventing further issues and ensuring the safety and well-being of all members of the community.
