End of GCSEs

Hello residents 

Mon 15th and Weds 17th marks the last day of GCSEs for all THANET secondary schools. With this in mind we are expecting numbers of younger local residents attending Broadstairs to inflate on these days and the week. Police are aware of the dates and there will be suitable resources assigned to any issues this may bring. I ask parents to have conversations with their children about acceptable behaviour, if they know they are going out on these evenings. To those that are attending with intent to cause issues we will manage them robustly. This message is not meant to cause concern to residents or locals that there will be issues. But it makes sense to send a message to advise what is happening and ask you report any issues you may see, so we are able to deal with them.
